How to use nipple chuck on pipe threading machine correctly?

To check the threads meet the standard depth.

As shown in the video, tighten the pipe until the pipe cannot go in any further.

Turn the nipple chuck to “release” position. Try to tighten the pipe, if the pipe can go deeper, it means the threads meet standard, if not, the threads is shallower than normal.
